Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. She is an American actress well-known for portraying tough, yet vulnerable character. Linney was brought up in a family of actors since her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. She received her graduation from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City was her first stop in 1990. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. She received praise for her roles in Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
