Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy has four brothers and sisters, with one coming at each one of their parents' previous marriages. They were initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she didn't learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she was 16, she quit college and began pursuing a career as an actress full time. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
