Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is an extremely popular American following her win on American Idol's inaugural season. The win brought Clarkson to the spotlight and secured her a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, and 'S Records. Since then, she has released a number of Studio albums. Three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. She was a bit flimsy as she found success with diverse musical and theme styles. She often composed her own songs. Her individuality and her singing abilities earned her critical praise along with a host of prestigious awards. She has been the most notable winner of Grammy Awards three times.
