
Stephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her first film role was Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. The actress went on to play in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017). Sigman was the main character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born to the family of a Mexican mother and an American dad, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. By virtue of her father, she is legally a U.S. citizen. Her father, the player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She began her career on Mexican television before making her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she played the lead part in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. The film was chosen as the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. it was not on the final cut.
