Elizabeth Olsen

KimAmerican actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen was born on 16 February 1989 in Sherman Oaks in California. Born in Sherman Oaks, California, Olsen began acting at the age four. After starring in Martha Marcy May Marlene's film, the actress was widely praised and was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Award. The film was immediately followed by Silent House. Olsen was nominated for an BAFTA Rising Star Award and she received her degree from New York University two year after. Olsen has gained international recognition due to her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, appearing in the superhero films Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), and the miniseries WandaVision (2021). Her role in WandaVision garnered her nominations for an Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Outside of her involvement with Marvel, Olsen starred in the film Godzilla (2014), the mystery film Wind River (2017) Godzilla (2014) as well as the film with a mystery theme Wind River (2017), and the romantic comedy Ingrid Goes West (2017). She also starred as an executive producer in the drama Sorry for Your Loss (2018-2019), winning a Critics' Pick Television Award nomination for her performance as a widow.
